Twite at Clahane one of the counties most traditional sites for this species Jeff Copner

The GREAT WHITE EGRET was at Ballyallia lake again this evening but got disturbed by a canoeist and the bird flew off to Drumcliff and in the direction of Lough Erinagh (John N Murphy & Tom Lynch). Also at Ballyallia were four Little Egrets, an adult Mediterranean Gull and one Merlin (John N Murphy).
A Twite was at Clahane, Liscannor (Jeff Copner)
A flock of 200 Barnacle Geese were at Mutton Island (Geoff Pearson).
Two Green Sandpipers, one Greenshank and 14 Whooper Swans were at Lough Gash (John N Murphy).
A flock of 48 Whooper Swans were at Ballygireen, Newmarket-on-Fergus with 22 Greylag Geese at Ballycar Lough (John N Murphy).
