At the Bridges of Ross today there were ten Sooty Shearwaters, ten Leach’s Petrels, 20 Storm Petrels, 40 Pomarine Skuas, 14 Arctic Skuas, 27 Bonxies, 1 juvenile Long-tailed Skua, seven juvenile Sabine’s Gulls, 25 Grey Phalaropes, 1400 Gannets, 6000 auks, eight Great Northern Divers, 150 Arctic Terns, one Snipe, 11 Brent Geese and six Common Scoters.
A two hour seawatch this afternoon off the Pier at Seafield, Quilty produced one Great Shearwater, one juvenile Long-tailed Skua, one juvenile Pomarine Skua, two pale phase Arctic Skuas, one juvenile Sabine’s Gulls, two Leach’s Petrels, 50 Arctic Terns, one Great Northern Diver and two Curlew Sandpipers were on the beach.
At Killard, Doonbeg there were two juvenile Sabine’s Gulls, one juvenile Curlew Sandpiper and a first-winter Little Gull.
One Whimbrel was at Rinnagonnacht.
