A Black-necked Grebe was at Foynes (Tom Tarpey). This is the sixth record for the County coming 11 years after the last records at Lough Gur in April 2012 and September 2008.
Two adult Mediterranean Gulls and a Common Sandpiper were also in the area (TT). One of the Mediterranean Gulls was colour ringed White 3NYT as a chick in Ijesselmeer, Holland in June 2015.
