A seawatch at the Bridges of Ross between 06.00-18.30 produced 20 Storm Petrel, six Wilson’s Petrel, four Leach’s Petrel. 300 Cory’s Shearwater, 30 Great Shearwater, four Balearic Shearwater, 200 Sooty Shearwater, two Great Skua, eight Long-tailed Skua, 45 Arctic Skua, three Pomarine Skua, five Grey Phalarope, 25 Sabine’s Gull, three Common Scoter, 51 Whimbrel and eight Brent Goose.(Des Higgins, Noel Keogh et al)

At Black Head this morning between 07.05-10.35 there were three Sabine’s Gull, eight Great Shearwater, eight Cory’s Shearwater, seven Sooty Shearwater, 35 Sandwich Tern, two Arctic Skua, one Pomarine Skua, eight Storm Petrel and 21 Whimbrel.(Paul Troake)
