Clare Bird Sightings

A total number of 78 species were recorded in the Burren National Park during National Bio Blitz competition held today. The most notable species was a Wood Sandpiper. A Merlin and Peregrine were also seen.This was the highest number of birds recorded in any of the four sites in the competition.
