Sunday 30th September
A Buzzard was seen near Muckinish East, Ballyvaughan today
(Stephen Ward & Sharon Parr).
One Snow Bunting was on the Rine, Ballyvaughan.

Saturday 29th September 2007
One immature Buzzard was at Loop Head (John N Murphy, Tony Mee at al).
Also at Loop Head were one female Hen Harrier, six Kestrels, two Lapland
Buntings and two immature Mediterranean Gulls were at Loop Head today.

Friday 28th September 2007
One Green Sandpiper was at Ballycorick Bridge, Ballynacally.
One Kingfisher was at Islandavanna, near Clarecastle.
Redwings were seen flying over Applewood, Ballycar,
Newmarket-on-Fergus early this morning.

Tuesday 25th September 2007
A juvenile Sabine’s Gull was at Carrigaholt.
One Green Sandpiper was at Moyasta.
A flock of 18 Chough were at Loop Head.
One male Hen Harrier was at Killard, Doonbeg.
Eleven Brent Geese were at Liscannor.
One White Wagtail was at Doonbeg.
One Kingfisher was at Kilcredaun Marsh.

Monday 24th September 2007
There was goods passage at the Bridges of Ross today
where 39 Sabine’s Gulls were seen along with four Long-tailed
 Skuas, two Pomarine Skuas, 14 Bonxies, 22 Arctic Skuas, two
Balearic Shearwaters, 600 Sooties, two Great Shearwatewrs,
80 plus Grey Phalaropes, 15 Leachs Petrels, 20 Storm Petrels,
1000 plus Arctic Terns, one Little Gull and three Common Scoter.
There was a juvenile Sabine’s Gull on the sand banks
in the mouth of Doonbeg Lough today.
A flock of 100 Arctic Terns were seen feeding at Liscannor Pier,
with one White Wagtail also at Liscannor.

Sunday 23rd September 2007
Six Lapland Buntings, one Merlin and 28 Chough were at
Loop Head.
One Peregrine and one Kingsfisher were at Doonbeg.

Saturday 22nd September 2007
Two Green Sandpipers were at Moyasta.
One Ruff was at Lough Donnell.
A Roseate Tern was at Kilcredaun.
One adult Mediterranean Gull was at Kilkee beach.

Friday 21st September 2007
One Arctic Skua was still at Liscannor Bay.
One female Hen Harrier was at Lahinch.
A White Wagtail was at Seafield, Quilty.
One Green Sandpiper and two Kingfishers
were at Ballycorick Bridge, near Ballynacally.

Thursday 20th September 2007
There were tow Pomarine Skuas and one Sabines Gull
at the Bridges of Ross.
One Arctic Skua was at Liscannor.
Three Whopper Swans were at Lough Atedaun, Corofin, early
returning birds.
A flock of 80 Little Grebes were at Lough Inchiquin, Corofin.

Wednesday 19th September 2007
There were two Jays at the Lees Wood Road this evening.

Tuesday 18th September 2007
There was one juvenile Sabine’s Gull off Green Island, Miltown Malbay.
One Arctic Skua was at Liscannor Bay.
One female Hen Harrier was at Barrtra, Lahinch.
One Peregrine was at Ballycar, Newmarket-on-Fergus.

Monday 17th September 2007
One Green Sandpiper was at Ballycorick Bridge, Ballynacally.
One Merlin was at Islandavanna.
Two Jays were at the Lees Wood Road, Ennis.

Sunday 16th September 2007
At the Bridges of Ross today there were;
22 Storm Petrels, nine Leach’s Petrel, 12 Sabine’s Gull (four adults and ten juveniles),
180 Sooty Shearwaters, 22 Bonxies, three Arctic, seven Pomarine Skuas , 450 Arctic
Terns and three Sunfish.
One male Hen Harrier was at Lough Donnell.
Three White Wagtails were at Greg Beach.

Saturday 15th September 2007
There were four Sabine’s Gulls, six Red-throated Divers,
two Leach’s Petrels, three Storm Petrels, two Arctic Skuas,
two Bonxies, one Pomarine Skua, 80 Arctic Terns, two
Peregrines and one Sunfishwere all at the Bridges of Ross.
Five Little Egrets, one Ruff, two Water Rails, 1,700 Black-tailed
Godwits, 50 Knot,450 Golden Plover and one Common Sandpiper were
the highlights from the outing to the Shannon Airport Lagoon.
There were also two Migrant Hawker Dragonflies at the Lagoon.

Friday 14th September 2007
There were two Sabine’s Gulls at the Bridges of Ross today.

Sunday 9th September 2007
Nine Little Egrets and two Green Sandpipers were
at Moyasta Creek, Poulnasherry Bay.
One Curlew Sandpiper, one Ruff, three Little Egrets
and two Spotted Redsahanks were at the Shannon Airport Lagoon. 
There were three Green Sandpipers at Ballycorrick Bridge, Ballynacally.
The Leucistic Curlew has returned to Poulnasherry Bay.

Friday 7th September 2007
The adult Long-billed Dowitcher plus one Wood Sandpiper,
one Curlew Sandpiper and one Spotted Redhank were at
the Shannon Airport Lagoon (Richard Bonser).

Thursday 6th September 2007
One Green Sandpiper was at Quin on the Rine River.
One Razorbill was seen off Traderee Point near Bunratty
a long way up the river Shannon.

Tuesday 4th September 2007
One Little Tern, one Arctic Skua and one first-winter
Mediterranean Gull were at Liscannor.
One Peregrine was at Lough Donnell.
Three White Wagtaisl were at Doonbeg.
Two White Wagtails were at Seafield.
One Common Sandpiper was at the Quay in Clarecastle this morning.

Monday 3rd September 2007
The Buff-breasted Sandpiper was still on the sand bank at
Doonbeg (Niall & Noel Keogh, Dave MacNamara).
There was also a Common Sandpiper, one Kingfisher, one White Wagtail
and a Raven at Doonbeg.
Two Peregrine were at Barrtra, near Lahinch.
One Raven was at Slieve Elva.
A Great Shearwater, 12 Sooties, four Arctic Skuas and a Merlin
were seen during a 2 hour seawatchat the Bridges of Ross this morning.

Sunday 2nd September 2007
A Buff-breasted Sandpiper was at Doonbeg today (Dave MacNamara et al).

At the Bridges of Ross there were eight Great Shearwaters, 145 Sooty Shearwaters,
5,000 Manx Shearwaters, eight Leach’s Petrels, 21 Storm Petrels,  four Pomarine Skuas,
eight Arctic skuas, six Bonxies, three adult Sabines Gulls, eight Common Scoter and
17 Whimbrel.

Saturday 1st September 2007
There were 45 Sooty Shearwaters, eight Storm Petrels, three Leach’s Petrels,
one Bonxie, five Arctic Skuas, 15 Common Scoter and a Minke Whale at the Bridges of Ross.
Two Little Egrets and two Spotted Redshanks were at the Shannon Airport Lagoon.
