Clare Bird Sightings

Sunday 18th May 2014

At a very wet National Dawn Chorus in the Burren this morning three Whitethroat were singing in South Commons and four on the Crag Road close to Mullaghmore. Two male Yellowhammer were also on the Crag Road. Three Blackcap were singing nearby and the Cuckoo was heard on a few occasions. Two pair of Jay were seen in Lees Road Wood this morning and ten Blackcap were in song there.
