Juvenile Little Gull off the Fodry, Loop Head John N Murphy

There was one Wilson’s Storm Petrel at the Bridges of Ross this morning (9.20)(Lee Gregory, John N Murphy, Jim F Dowdall et al). Also at the Bridges were one Great Shearwater, 50+ Sooty Shearwaters, one Balearic Shearwater, two Storm Petrels, 15 Leaches Petrels, 20 Great Skuas, five Arctic Skuas, 14 Common Scoter, one Red-throated Diver, five Sabines Gulls (one adult and four juveniles), two juvenile/first-winter Little Gulls, 75 Arctic Terns, 51 Sandwich Terns,four Whimbrel and a Peregrine Falcon.  Off the Fodry, LoopHead there were three Bonxies, one dark-phased Arctic Skua, one second winter and one first-winter Little Gull, two Whimbrel and 22 Arctic Terns. Five Wheatears and 16 Chough were on the Fodry. One Little Gull was at Clahane, Liscannor. There were ten Little Egrets, 50 Teal, 150 Mallard, 25 Redshank, eight Greenshank, three Lapwing, 50 Curlew, six Ringed Plover, one Turnstone and a Peregrine at Moyasta Creek, Poulnasherry.
