Im staying on the a house on the Shore at a labasheeda in Clare. There is mud flats just outside the house and a lot of bird life, including curlews. This morning what i thought were two juvenile curlews as they were black and white coloured, smaller than curlew with white heads may have been male or juvenile Red-necked phalarope, i had a very clear site of the pair as they flew past. As they were both the same colour, i would say they were both juveniles.
