Redshank at Tarbert Bay Geoff Hunt
14 Sand Martins, the first reported in Limerick this year, were seen at Arthurs Quay, Limerick City this afternoon while a Chiffchaff was in song at Westfields.
The evening high tide roost at Coonagh held 101 Redshank and two Greenshank. Ten Gadwall and four Pochard were also present at the site.
Two Little Egrets, 85 Teal, 12 Mallard, 35 Shelduck, 15 Knot, 32 Redshank, nine Greenshank, 23 Black-tailed Godwits three Oystercatchers and a Curlew were at Trabert Bay (Geoff Hunt).
I spotted three swallows at Adare Manor Hotel Golf Course on Good Friday! Is this the first sighting of them?

That was the first spring record of Swallows in Limerick. I have updated the Limerick Sightings sections to reflect it. Thanks for the report.
