Clare Bird Sightings

An adult White-rumped Sandpiper was on the mudflats at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening (John N Murphy), along with two juvenile Ruff, one Common Sandpiper, 60 Knot, 180 Dunlin, 150 Redshank and four Little Egrets.
The American Golden Plover is still at Doonbeg again today (Maurice Hanafin).
One adult Sabine’s Gull, one Pomarine Skua, one Bonxie and eight Arctic Skuas were at the Bridges of Ross.
Four Ruff, one Common Sandpiper and a male Hen Harrier were at Lough Atedaun, Corofin.
One Ruff and eight Little Egrets were at the Martelloe Tower at Aughinish Island.
Five Crossbills were at Gort Coirce, Dysert.
Two Raven were at Ballinruan.
