A Scottish satelite tagged Osprey flew through County Limerick today. The bird came directly south west from Scotland through  Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland and the Midlands in the past two days then past Murroe, Caherconlish, Lough Gur and Bruree before heading towards Charleville (per NIRSG). The bird, a recently fledged male, is one of a brood of three from a nest in Aberfoyle forest in Stirlingshire. Its progress can be followed on The  Lodge Forest Visitor Centre Facebook page.
