A Buzzard was seen flying over the M20 near Patrickswell and a Buzzard was also seen just west of Adare.

A Snow Bunting was found at Dromada in the west Limerick hills today.

Brambling at Currachase (James Hayes)
Two Bramblings and five Jays were at Currachase. Three Red Squirrels were also seen.
Two Red Grouse, 11 Crossbills and a male Hen Harrier were seen today in the west Limerick hills.
A Jay was seen near the N21 between Adare and Croagh.

Snow Bunting (Tom Fox)
A Snow Bunting was seen in the Ballyhoura Mountains today. This is the second record of this scarce species in the County since 1983, the other being on October 30th last year.
A flock of 24 Black-tailed Godwits was feeding in a flooded field beside the Dock Road/Tunnel approach intersection. Godwits have been seen using the fields in this area in the past, particularly after periods of wet weather, though not as close to the road as on this occasion.

Little Egret at Coonagh (Tom Tarpey)
There were 40 Golden Plover, 120 Lapwing, a Black-tailed Godwit, five Gadwall, 22 Pochard, 25 Tufted Duck, two Wigeon, a Teal, 11 Mute Swans, two Little Grebes, 85 Coot, three Little Egrets, two Herons, two Ravens, two Skylarks and a flock of about 60 Goldfinches were at Coonagh today.
