Two Chiffchaffs were in song at Ballycullane, Grange and two more were near Fedamore (Gerry Murphy & Tom Tarpey).
Six Buzzards were also in the area (GM & TT).

A Kingfisher was at Robertstown Creek and another was at Loughill(Patrick Bailey, Tom Lynch, Maura Turner, Clodagh Glasgow et al)
A Green Sandpiper was at Tarbert.(PB. TL, MT, CG et al)

A Green Sandpiper was at Curraghchase Forest Park.(Clodagh Jones)


Wednesday 14th September 2022

A Red Kite was reported flying over the Dock Road near Barney’s Bridge (Annie Downing, eBird).
A juvenile Mediterranean Gull was at Robertstown (Geoff Hunt).


Saturday 10th September 2022

An adult winter Mediterranean Gull was at Thomond Weir (TT).
Four Wheatears were on the Ballyhoura Mts. (James McGrath).
A Chiffchaff was at Crecora (Derek Casey).


Thursday 8th September 2022

A Green Sandpiper, a Spotted Redshank, a Whimbrel and 142 Redshank were at Robertstown (TT).


Tuesday 6th September 2022

A Hawfinch was seen and a few others were heard calling at Curraghchase (John Murphy).
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was also seen at the site (JM).


Sunday 4th September 2022

Four Knot, 58 Dunlin, 21 Ringed Plover, 35 Redshank, a Sandwich Tern and two Little Egrets were at Loughill (TT).


Saturday 3rd September 2022

A Chiffchaff was in song at Clashganniff (Clodagh Glasgow).
A Common Sandpiper was at Poulaweela Creek (TT).
A Kingfisher was at Loughill (TT).
