A 3cy Yellow-legged Gull was at Clancy’s Strand (TT)

A 3cy Yellow-legged Gull was at Clancy’s Strand (Tom Tarpey).
A fledged juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen near Murroe(TT).


Sunday 5th June 2022

A juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker was seen at in a nest hole near Murroe, while a second juvenile was heard begging for food nearby (Tom Tarpey). This is at least the third consecutive year of successful breeding in the area.


Monday 30th May 2022

A pair of summer-plumaged adult Mediterranean Gulls flew downriver from the city towards the ponds at Coonagh this afternoon. (John N Murphy)
