The first Sand Martin report of the year comes from the Shannon at Plassey where a flock of ten birds was seen in the early afternoon.

A White-tailed Eagle was seen at Curraghchase today(Clodagh Glasgow). The bird was being mobbed at various stages by a Peregrine Falcon and a Raven.

Four Hawfinches were at Curraghchase (Gerry Lyons, Des Higgins). Five Waxwings were seen at the Rosbrien Road just south of the railway level crossing.
