Six Buzzards were seen in a silage field near Ballingarry (Sean Dunworth).

An adult and a 1st winter Mediterranean Gull were at Tarbert (Geoff Hunt).
80 Ringed Plover, 15 Dunlin and three Turnstone were at Glin (GH).


Saturday 22nd September 2018

60 Gadwall, two Teal, two Mallard and 18 Tufted Duck were at Coonagh(TT).
A Buzzard was at the Rosbrien Interchange (James Hayes & TT).


Thursday 20th September 2018

41 Teal, 12 Mallard, four Great-crested Grebes, 40 Redshank, two Greenshank, 50 Curlew, five Snipe, a Lapwing, an Oystercatcher and four Little Egrets were at Loughill (TT).


Tuesday 18th September 2018

A Buzzard was at Mount Earl (TT).
25 Gadwall, five Shoveler six Wigeon and a Little Egret were at Coonagh (TT).


Saturday 15th September 2018

A Mediterranean Gull and a Kingfisher were at Loughill (Maura Turner).


Thursday 13th September 2018

A Manx Shearwater was on the River Shannon at the Shannon Bridge in Limerick today (Andrew Holmes).
A Willow Warbler was at Westfields (TT)
Two Garganey(immature/female types), 230 Teal, 100 Mallard, 22 Shoveler, a Wigeon, a Green Sandpiper, 10 Black-tailed Godwits, four Snipe, three Dunlin, 20 Little Grebes, six Cormorants, a Pergrine Falcon and 100 Goldfinches were at the Charleville Lagoons today.

A Wheatear was at the UL bowl (TT).
A Buzzard was at the Rossbrien intersection (TT).


Tuesday 11th September 2018

120 Ringed Plover, eight Turnstone and three Dunlin were at Glin (Geoff Hunt).
A Green Sandpiper, 12 Lapwing, eight Curlew, 16 Redshank, 14 Teal and a Little Egret were at Robertstown (GH).
18 Little Egrets were at Tarbert Bay (GH).

Three Garganey, 277 Teal, 136 Mallard, three Shoveler, a Tufted Duck, three Ruff, six Dunlin, 18 Black-tailed Godwits, a Green Sandpiper, a Common Sandpiper, a Lapwing, a Ringed Plover, two Snipe, 14 Moorhens, a Kingfisher, 28 Little Grebes, 20 Mute Swans and six Cormorants were at the Charleville Lagoons (TT).
A Kingfisher was at Knocknasoura Bridge, Kilmallock (Andrew Holmes).
