A female/1st winter Yellowhammer was seen with a flock of Reed Buntings and Redpolls at Farnane Cross. A Buzzard was also seen nearby (Niall Keogh).

Two Whooper Swans, two Scaup, 22 Gadwall, ten Shoveler and a Chiffchaff were at Coonagh (TT).

A sub-adult Yellow-legged Gull was at Thomond Weir (TT).

Five Woodcock were seen between Farnane Cross and Cappamore (Niall Keogh).

Richard’s Pipit Davey Farrar

A Richard’s Pipit was found at an undisclosed site in Limerick today (Davy Farrar). The site is private and not accessible. This great find is a first record of the species for the County.
