38 Mallard, 30 Teal, 11 Wigeon, four Shoveler, 22 Oystercatchers, 11 Snipe, a Redshank and 24 Mute Swans were at King’s Island (TT).

20 Gadwall, 20 Tufted Duck, 33 Mallard and six Teal were at Westfields (TT).
Two Redshank were at O’Callaghan’s Strand and another was at Clancy’s Strand (TT).

A Great Spotted Woodpecker was heard drumming at Curraghchase during the BWI outing. (Clodagh Glasgow, Maura Turner, James Organ et al.)
A Common Sandpiper was at Bunlickey (Gerry Murphy).

A Marsh Harrier, a probable sub-adult male, was seen at Lough Gur. Six Gadwall, seven Wigeon, eight Mallard, ten Tufted Duck and 19 Curlew were also present (TT).

The Ring-necked Duck was seen at Lough Gur again today (Gerry Murphy).
A Great Spotted Woodpecker was heard drumming at Curraghchase (Geoff Hunt).
An adult Mediterranean Gull was at Robertstown (TT).

A drake Ring-necked Duck was at Lough Gur. This is the 7th record for the County. Five Tufted Duck, 73 Wigeon and six Mallard were also present (Tom Tarpey).
