Two juvenile Buff-breasted Sandpipers with a Golden Plover at Loop Head John N Murphy

The adult American Golden Plover, two Juvenile Buff-breasted Sandpipers, five Lapland Buntings and 18 Twite were at the Fodry, Loop Head this morning. (John N Murphy)
At Loop Head Lighthouse there were two White Wagtails, one Robin and one Great Tit. (JNM)

A moulting adult American Golden Plover at Loop Head John N Murphy

There was an adult American Golden Plover in the Plover Fields at Loop Head this morning within a flock of 120 Golden Plover. (John N Murphy & Sean Pierce)
At the Bridges of Ross there was one adult Long-tailed Skua, one Balearic Shearwater, 150 Sooty Shearwaters, two Sabine’s Gulls, 15 Bonxies, 12 Arctic Skuas, three Storm Petrels, 20 Sandwich Terns, six Common Scoter, ten Red-throated Divers, two Great Northern Divers, one Great-crested Grebe, one Whimbrel and two Puffin. One the rest of Loop Head there was one female Ring-tailed Hen Harrier, one Peregrine, three Sparrowhawk, two Wheatear, two Chiffchaff, one Willow Warbler, 60 Snipe and two Little Egrets. (JNM & SP)
One adult Ringed-billed Gull, two first-winter Mediterranean Gulls, one Kingfisher, ten Sandwich Terns and 40 Sanderling were on the beach at Kilkee. (JNM)

Three Grey Phalarope, six Arctic Skua, 14 Great Skua, seven Pomarine Skua, 11 Arctic Tern, 80 Manx Shearwater, 14 Kittiwake, 35 Gannet, 18 Razor Bill, a Storm Petrel and six Sandwich Tern were at Black Head from 10.35-13.35.(Paul Troake)
Twenty Great Skua, two Pomarine Skua, five Arctic Skua, 31 Arctic Tern, 42 Leach’s Petrel, four Storm Petrel, 59 Brent Goose, eight Common Scoter, two Sandwich Tern, two Red-throated Diver, a Grey Phalarope and 13 Sooty Shearwater were at the Bridges of Ross between 07.30-11.00.(Chris Cullen)
Fifteen Great Skua, 15 Arctic Skua, two Pomarine Skua, five Long-tailed Skua, 15 Leach’s Petrel, a Sabine’s Gull, a Grey Phalarope, two Great Northern Diver and a Red-throated Diver were at the Bridges of Ross from 17.30-19.30(Sean Pierce)

At the Bridges of Ross today were one Balearic, 1130+ Sooty Shearwaters, 2325+ Manx Shearwaters, 12 Leach’s, 40+ Storm Petrels, one Grey Phalarope, 117+ Bonxie, 36 Pomarine Skuas, 23 Arctic Skuas, two adult Sabine’s Gulls, 50+ Arctic Terns, one Sandwich Tern, two Puffins, three Light-bellied Brent Geese, five Common Scoter and seven Red-throated Divers. (Niall T. Keogh, Brian Porter, Gyr Penn, Paul Troake, Geoff Pearson, Tom Tarpey, Jim Bowman, Paul Archer et al).
There were 90 Curlew and two Snipe at Ross Bay (TT).
One Ruff was at Kilbaha (TT).
