Two WHITE-TAILED EAGLES were showing well at Mount Shannon. (Nuala & Tom Lynch et al)
The three Garganey were still at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this afternoon, along with 102 Black-tailed Godwits a Water Rail and five Dunlin. (Nuala & Tom Lynch)
There were three Arctic Skuas, one Bonxie, 1,000 Manx Shearwaters per hour and 500 Fulmar per hour off the Bridges of Ross this morning. (Tony Mee)
There was one Pomarine Skua, one Arctic Skua, four Artic Terns, ten Sandwich Terns, 100 Manx Shearwaters, 200 Guillemots and 11 Great Northern Divers off Black Head. (Dave McNamara)

Three Garganey at the Shannon Airport Lagoon John N Murphy

There were three Garganey at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening (two drakes and one hen), along with one Water Rail, one Little Egret and one singing Whitethroat. (John N Murphy)

A CEDAR WAXWNG (the third Irish record) visited a catoneaster bush in the car park at Vaundeluer Gardens in Kilrush Wood today. (Mary Keating) This record only came to light on 13th June when the photos were submitted to JM of the Clare Branch.
A Buzzard was observed hunting at Slieve Bearnagh today. (Paul Troake)

At the Bridges of Ross this morning between 9.00am and 12,00 noon, there were 2,400 Manx Shearwaters passing per hour in a south westerly direction along with two Storm Petrels and one Great Northern Diver. (Tony Mee)
Off the Bridges of Ross between 12.00 noon ad 14.00there were three Sooty Shearwaters, 2,000 Manx Shearwaters per hour, one Storm Petrel and 380 Gannets. (John N Murphy)
In the late afternoon 16.00 to 18.00 one Bonxie flew south west past the Bridges of Ross and one Common Scoter. The Manx Shearwater numbers had dropped to 1,500 per hour. (John N Murphy & Tony Mee)

A Grasshopper Warbler and a Curlew were at Lough Donnell.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)
A flock of around 200 hirundines, mainly Swallows were feeding on a large hatch of insect at Ballyallia Lake this evening. Fifteen Swift were also in the area.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)
