Thursday 9th April 2015

A Sedge Warbler was just south of Lough Donnell, an early arrival back from west Africa. Twenty Skylark were singing in the same general area.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)

There were ten Great Northern and five Red-throated Divers, off Lurga Point. ( Nuala and Tom Lynch)

A SNOWY OWL was seen in Gleninagh Mountain by a group of walkers around midday.
This morning at Applewood, Ballycar there were two Swallows, one Willow Warbler, one Chiffchaff, one male Blackcap, two Stock Doves and three Greylag Geese. (John N Murphy)
