A SNOWY OWL was seen in Gleninagh Mountain by a group of walkers around midday.
This morning at Applewood, Ballycar there were two Swallows, one Willow Warbler, one Chiffchaff, one male Blackcap, two Stock Doves and three Greylag Geese. (John N Murphy)
Twenty three Yellowhammer were at a sheep farm west of Boston.(Francie Donoghue and Gerry Slattery)
Three Blackcap and five Chiffchaff were singing in Lees Road Wood this evening.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)
There were Swallows at Seafield, Quilty also this evening. (Ann O’Connell)

One Leach’s Petrel was spotted at sea this morning West of the Porcupine Bank, c.380km West of Loop Head, from R.V. Celtic Explorer. (Niall T Keogh)
The drake SURF SCOTER was still at Lahinch (Dave McNamara), along with 20 Common Scoter and two Red-throated Divers.
There was one Merlin, 48 Brent Geese and 180 Golden Plover at Clahane. (Dave McNamara)
There were 20 Whooper Swans, 200 Teal and 100 Wigeon at Carron Turlough. (Dave McNamara)
Two Treecreepers were seen building a nest at a Barn near Ballyhea, an unusual choice of nest site. (Cliff Baxter)
