Over 900 Black-headed Gull, 670 Wigeon, 120 Coot, 48 Tufted Duck, 33 Little Grebe, 26 Teal, 10 Shoveler, seven Little Egret, six Gadwall, three Raven and two Great-crested Grebe were at Ballyallia Lake.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)

Drake Smew at Rosroe Lake has returned for the third winter John N Murphy

A drake SMEW, 38 Goldeneye and a Water Rail were at Rossroe Lake this morning. (John N. Murphy) The SMEW was still showing well between 12p.m.-1p.m. (Nuala and Tom Lynch)
Sixteen Gadwall, ten Shoveler and 85 Lapwing were at the Shannon Airport Lagoon. (Nuala and Tom Lynch)
Between Drumgeely Bay, Shannon and Knockbeg Point there were over 3000 Golden Plover, 320 Dunlin, 210 Lapwing, 60 Grey Plover, 57 Shelduck, 50 Redshank and 32 Curlew. (Nuala and Tom Lynch)

The drake SMEW returned to Rosroe Lake this afternoon (David Lyons), along with 32 Goldeneye.
Five hundred and thirty Wigeon, 404 Lapwing, 170 Teal, 94 Coot, 80 Shoveler, 59 Tufted Duck, 44 Little Grebe, 23 Mallard, 16 Pintail Duck, 13 Gadwall, eight Moorhen, seven Cormorant, five Little Egret, three Curlew, two Great-crested Grebe, two Raven and two Redshank were at Ballyallia Lake.
