At the Bridges of Ross today were, three Sooty Shearwaters, two Arctic Skuas, nine Bonxies, four Grey Phalaropes and one Puffin. (Sean Pierce)

Wednesday 4th September 2019

At the Bridges of Ross todsy there was one Wilson’s Petrel. (John N Murphy et al)
Also at the Bridges were 12 Sooty Shearwaters, three Pomarine Skuas, 38 Bonxies, 23 Arctic Skuas, 13 Long-tailed Skuas, two Storm Petrels, 18 Leach’s Petrels, four Sabines Gulls, 34 Sandwich Terns, 12 Arctic Terns, two Red-throated Divers, 32 Grey Phalaropes and 14 Whimbrel.(Niall Keogh, Sean Pierce, John N Murphy, Aonghus O’Donnell, Paidi Cullinan et al)

Tuesday 3rd September 2019

At the Bridges of Ross today there were 36 Sooty Shearwaters, two Arctic Skuas, 22 Bonxies, 30 Sandwich Terns and 25 Whimbrel. ( Sean Pierce)

At the Bridges of Ross today there were ten Sooty Shearwaters, two Arctic Skuas, six Bonxies, 13 Leach’s Petrels and 25 Sandwich Terns. (Sean Pierce)

At the Bridges of Ross there were ten Sooty Shearwaters, one adult Pomarine Skua, seven Arctic Skuas, ninecBonxies, two Leach’s Petrels, 12 Grey Phalaropes and three Puffins. (VC, JD & AK)
One pale phased Pomarine Skua and one Arctic Skua were off Black Head this morning, and four Bonxies off Coolsiva Pier. (Paul Troake)

At the Bridges of Ross today there were, one Great Shearwater, 32 Sooty Shearwaters, one Balearic Shearwater, 28 Leach’s Petrels, three Storm Petrels, 11 Long-tailed Skuas, three Pomarine Skuas, 42 Arctic Skuas, 36 Bonxies, seven Sabine’s Gulls, one Black Tern, four Arctic Terns, 28 Sandwich Terns, two Little Terns, 36 Grey Phalaropes, 14 Whimbrel, 26 Sanderling, four Dunlin, 12 Knot, 22 Turnstone and two Common Scoter. At the Bridges of Ross today were; 350 Sooty Shearwaters, six Storm Petrels, two Leach’s Petrels, 45 Bonxies, 30 Arctic Skuas, six Pomarine Skuas, one Long-tailed Skua,two Grey Phalaropes, two Sabine’s Gulls, two Common Scoter, 27 Sandwich Terns, five Arctic Terns and six Whimbrel.(Kieran Grace, John N Murphy et al)
Two juvenile Ruff were at Ballyallia Lake with 69 Collared Doves on the south shore of the lake.(Paidi Cullinan)
