In a 3 hour sea watch at Ross, Loop Head today there was one Wilson’s Storm Petrel, one Sooty Shearwater, one Arctic Skua, seven European Storm Petrels, 14,000 Manx Shearwaters, two Puffin and two Curlew all flying west.(John N Murphy)

Two family parties of Chough, a pair of Ringed Plover with two chicks along with a host of nesting Common Guillemot, Razorbill, Kittiwake, Fulmar, Shag, Herring Gull and Great Black-backed Gull were seen during a well attended Clare/Limerick BWI outing to Loop Head.(Sean Whelan, Nuala and Tom Lynch, Clodagh Glasgow, Gearóid Jackson et al)
