One Swallow was at the White Strand, Killard, Doonbeg.
Three Sand Martins were on the River Fergus in the middle of Ennis Town.
Willow Warblers were heard singing at the Shannon Airport Lagoon, The New Line in the Burren and Rosroe Lake, Newmarket-on-Fergus.

One Swallow was at Carrigaholt, this was the first recorded in Clare this year.
At Loop Head there was one Glaucous Gull, five Iceland Gulls and 250 Manx Shearwaters.
One second-year Glaucous Gull was at Seafield, Quilty along with two Sand Martins and a Wheatear.
A Chiffchaff was at Lees Road, Ennis.

One Chiffchaff and one Blackcap were singing at Applewood, Ballycar.
Three Wheatears were at Chimney Bay, Kilkee.
Monday 19th March 2012
One Pink-footed Goose and 18 Greylag Geese were at Lough Muchanagh.
Two Crossbills were at Gortcoirce.
There were six Little Egrets at Querrin.
One Peregrine was at Chimney Bay, Kilkee.
A flock of 30 Choughs flew the quarry on the Dunlickey coast road out of Kilkee.

One male and one female Wheatear were at the Blue Pool, Killard, Doonbeg. These are the first recorded in Clare this year.
There were large numbers of Skylarks nesting in Shragh Bog, along with Snipe and one pair of Ravens as well.

One adult male Ring-necked Duck was at Lough Atedaun (Conor Foley).
A drake and hen Velvet Scoter were at Doughmore Bay, Doonbeg (Conor Foley).
There were eight Black-throated Divers off the Rine.
Another on Black-throated Diver and four Sandwich Terns were off Finvarra.
One male Blackcap was sining at Applewood, Ballycar, Newmarket-on-Fergus.
