There were nine White Wagtails, five Whimbrel, seven Purple Sandpipers and one Great Northern Diver (summer plumage) at Clahane.

There were 15 White Wagtails, two Purple Sandpipers, two Shellduck and four Great Northern Divers at Seafield.
Two Whimbrel and thirteen White Wagtail were seen at Clahane.
Four White Wagtails were at Cregg Beach, Liscannor Bay.
One Crossbill was at Gortcoirce, Dysert.

Four Blackcap were singing in Lees Road Wood this evening.
Two Jay were also present there.

One Buzzard was at was at Ballybeg, Ennis.
Three Grasshopper Warblers were singing at Doo Lough, Mount Callan.
Two male Yellowhammer along with a Raven were at Mulloughmore.
A female Yellowhammer was at nearby South Commons
Four Blackcap were singing at Dromore Nature Reserve

At the Clare Birdwatch outing to the Fanore/Caher Valley today the following were seen- 2 Dipper, 2 Blackcap, 1 Whitethroat,1 Merlin, 1 Black-throated Diver, 4 Great Northern Diver (in summer plumage), 4 Sandwich Tern, 1 Raven, and 10 Wheatear. Many of those present saw their first Swallow of the year also.
One Buzzard was at Mount Shannon today.
The first Cuckoo in the county was heard at Ballyogan, Barefield
Seventeen Brent Geese were at Ballyvaughan.

There were 11 Iceland Gulls, 80 Golden Plover and three Basking Sharks at Loop Head.

One Grasshopper Warbler was singing at Gortcoirce, Dysert. This is one of the earliest records ever in the county.
