Siberian Chiffchaff at Kilbaha John N Murphy

At Kilbaha Loop Head this morning there was on Siberian Chiffchaff, one Common Chiffchaff, one Willow Warbler and a 2CY Iceland Gull. (John N Murphy)

Female Red-crested Pochard at Lahinch Jeff Copner

One female Red-crested Pochard was at Lahinch Marsh. (Geoff Pearson & Jeff Copner) This is a first county record of this European duck.
Also at Lahinch was one Little Tern, two Arctic Terns and 12 Brent Geese.(John N Murphy et al)
There were 80 Purple Sandpipers at Seafield, Quilty. (JNM)

At the Shannon Airport Lagoon early this morning there were a pair of Shoveler, two Wigeon, 120 Black-tailed Godwits and 13 calling Water Rails. (John N Murphy)

There were 46 Tufted Ducks still at Lough Gash.(JNM)
