A Whimbrel was seen at Clahane this afternoon

Five Little Egret and two hundred and six Black-tailed Godwit were at 
the Shannon Airport Lagoon this afternoon.
One Jay was near Kilnacreagh, Sixmilebridge.
Wednesday 29th July 2009
A Wilson’s Storm-petrel was seen off the Bridges of Ross earlier this morning (Owen Foley).
Also at the bridges were five Sooty Shearwaters, three Balearic Shearwaters, one Arctic
Skua and lots of Storm Petrels.
There were 174 Curlews and two Common Sandpipers at Lough Atedaun.
A male Hen Harrier was seen close to Lough Ea this afternoon.

A Ring-billed Gull was at Clahane earlier today.

Monday 27th July 2009
There was one Kingfisher at the Claureen River attenuation pond in Ennis.
Four Stock Doves were at Applewood, Ballycar, Newmarket-on-Fergus.
A Jay was in Ballyallia Wood this evening.

A juvenile wing-tagged Hen Harrier was at Lough Bunny, the Burren.
There were 21 Sanderling at Seafield, Quilty.
Two Common Sandpipers were at Lough Donnell.
Friday 24th July 2009
One Yellowhammer was at Mullaghmore, the Burren.

A Common Gull wearing a yellow darvic ring 232V was on the
beach at Quilty along with one Whimbrel.
Monday 20th July 2009
There were 14 Little Egrets and 70 Black-tailed Godwits at the Shannon Airport Lagoon.
One Common Sandpiper and 30 Curlew were at Lough Atedaun.
There were two Common Sandpipers at Lahinch Marsh.
A flock of 28 Lapwings were at Lough Cullaun, the Burren.
Two Jays were at Dromore Wood.
One Jay was at Clifton Hill, Corofin.

There were 23 Little Egrets at the Shannon Airport Lagoon.

Friday 17th  July 2009
There were 11 Little Egrets and 110 Black-tailed Godwits at the Shannon Airport Lagoon.
One Kingfisher was seen flying along a stream in the O’Regan Park, Newmarket-on-Fergus.
A Black-headed Gull with a yellow band on its left leg No. 212D was at Clahane.
Two Whimbrel and two Common Sandpiper were at Lough Atedaun.

Two Yellowhammer were seen at South Commons near Kilnaboy this afternoon.
A Blackcap was singing in the same area.
There were eight Stock Doves near Ballymacahill, Ennis.

A Blackcap was singing in Lees Road Wood this evening.
Fifty Swift were seen over Ennis before dusk.

A Jay was seen in Lees Road Wood this morning.
Two Great Northern Diver were reported from Liscannor.
One hundred Curlew were at Lahinch Marsh.
A Common Sandpiper was seen at Loch Atedaun.
A Water Rail was at Lough Inchiquin.
Monday 13th July 2009
An Arctic Skua was seen in Liscannor.
A Little Egret was reported at the Lough near Kilbaha.
Sunday 12th July 2009
Over 6000 Manx Shearwater, one Sooty Shearwater, one Arctic Skua,
and three Storm Petrels were spotted off the Bridges of Ross.
Five Common Sandpiper were at Doonbeg
There were 29 Lesser Black-backed Gull at Lough Atedaun.
A Carrion Crow was reported from Killard Doonbeg this evening.
A Jay was seen in Lees Road Wood this morning.
Saturday 11th  July  2009
Three Common Sandpiper were seen at Blackweir Bridge, Querrin this morning.
A Blackcap was singing in Lees Road Wood.
Friday 10th July 2009
One Kingfisher was reported at Loch Muchanagh.
Three Yellowhammer and a Raven were seen at Carron.
Two Peregrine were spotted near Eagle’s Rock.
Three Blackcap were at Dysart.
 A hundred Manx Shearwater and ten pair of Black Guillemot were seen off Black Head.
