Two Dippers, a Grey Wagtail and a Blackcap, all with recently fledged young, were at Bruree.
Three Blackcaps, two Whitethroats, two Spotted Flycatchers, a Sedge Warbler and two pairs of Skylarks were at Athlacca.
A Kingfisher carrying food was seen south of Croom.

Two Spotted Flycatchers, two Blackcaps and seven Siskin were at Murroe.

Two Ringed Plover, 25 Lapwing, a Black-tailed Godwit, two Water Rails, a Little Egret, three Grey Herons, two Little Grebes, two Great Crested Grebes, eleven Pochard(inc. nine juveniles), a Gadwall, 20 Tufted Duck(18 drakes), five Mallard, three Stock Doves, two Skylarks, a Sedge Warbler, four Linnets and 20 Greenfinches were at Coonagh.

Seven Crossbills were at Drumreask, Athea.
Eight Great Crested Grebes(inc. a pair with three chicks), two Ringed Plover, 20 Lapwing, four Redshank, four Black-tailed Godwits, 15 Tufted Duck, a Shelduck, three Grey Herons, a Hen Harrier, a Sedge Warbler, two Stonechats and a flock of 41 Greenfinches were at Coonagh.

10 Wheatears, including recently fledged juveniles, were seen in the south western side of the Galtee Mountains. A Peregrine Falcon was also seen in the area.
A Cuckoo, four Blackcaps and three Whitethroats were at Aughinish Island.

Sunday 22nd May 2011

A female Pochard, a drake Shoveler, seven Tufted Duck, ten Mallard, ten Mute Swans, 60 Coot, two Great-crested Grebes, two Little Grebes, two Little Egrets, three Grey Herons, two Ringed Plovers and two Lapwings were at Coonagh this evening.
