One Macaronesian Shearwater was at the Bridges of Ross (Tom Lowe, Dan Brown et al).
Also at the Bridges were seven Great Shearwaters, four Balearic Shearwaters, 200 Sooty Shearwaters, two Pomarine Skuas,
four Arctic Skuas and two Bonxies.
There were five Mediterranean Gulls at Killimer (two adults and three first-winters).
A Barn Owl was seen in Tubber just after dusk.
A Little Egret was at the Shannon Airport Lagoon along with 414 Black-tailed Godwit on the mudflats.

Saturday 20th August 2011

There were 98 Great Shearwaters, 165 Sooty Shearwaters, five Balearic Shearwaters, four adult Sabine’s Gulls, two Pomarine Skuas, 12 Arctic Skuas, 13 Bonxies and 75 Storm Petrels at the Bridges of Ross today.
A flock of 2.000 Black-tailed Godwits and four Little Egrets were the highlights on the mudflats at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this morning on high tide.

Today at the Bridges of Ross there was one Great Shearwater, two Balearic Shearwaters, one adult Pomarine Skua, ten Arctic Skuas, five Bonxies, 209 Whimbrels and 12 Storm Petrels.
One Ruff and four Little Egrets were at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening.

Thursday 18th August 2011

The White-rumped Sandpiper and a summer plumaged American Golden Plover were on the mudflats at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening (Chris ten Bohmer & Hans Derks).
At the Bridges of Ross today there were eight Arctic Skuas, one Bonxie , one juvenile Mediterranean Gull and a Leather-backed Turtle.

Tuesday 16th August 2011

An adult White-rumped Sandpiper was on the mudflats at the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening (John N Murphy), along with two juvenile Ruff, one Common Sandpiper, 60 Knot, 180 Dunlin, 150 Redshank and four Little Egrets.
The American Golden Plover is still at Doonbeg again today (Maurice Hanafin).
One adult Sabine’s Gull, one Pomarine Skua, one Bonxie and eight Arctic Skuas were at the Bridges of Ross.
Four Ruff, one Common Sandpiper and a male Hen Harrier were at Lough Atedaun, Corofin.
One Ruff and eight Little Egrets were at the Martelloe Tower at Aughinish Island.
Five Crossbills were at Gort Coirce, Dysert.
Two Raven were at Ballinruan.

The American Golden Plover was at Doonbeg this evening (John N Murphy & Maeve Meehan).
Also at Doonbeg was one immature Mediterranean Gull.
One Peregrine was at Lough Donnell.

The American Golden Plover was still at Doonbeg (Jeff Copner).
At the Bridges or Ross this afternoon there were two Sooty Shearwaters, four Arctic Skuas, one Pomarine Skua, two Whimbrel and 50 Arctic Terns.

Saturday 13th August 2011

The American Golden Plover was at Doonbeg this afternoon (John N Murphy & Brian Finnegan).
There were three adult Sabine’s Gulls, for Balearic Shearwaters, 50 Sooty Shearwaters, two Pomarine Skuas, 18 Bonxies, 12 Arctic Skuas, three Storm Petrels, eight Common Scoters, 14 Whimbrel and 16 Arctic Terns at the Bridges of Ross today.
One female Hen Harrier was at Doonbeg.
One male Hen Harrier, one Kingfisher and ten Whimbrel were at Lahinch Marsh.
Five Crossbills were at Gort Coirce, Dysert.
Two Barn Owls were at an undisclosed site in west Clare.
