A White-tailed Eagle was at Lough Muchanagh this afternoon (Emma Glanville & Dave McNamara). Also at Lough Muchanagh there was the Tundra Bean Goose, 20 White-fronted Geese, 22 Greylag Geese, two Hen Harriers and one Great Northern Diver.
Three Surf Scoters were at Lahinch (two males & one female), (Jeff Copner) along with 150 Common Scoter and four Red-throated Divers.
The Tundra Bean Goose and three Pink-footed Geese were at Sandfield, Liscannor (John N Murphy).
One first-winter Iceland Gull and two Common Scoters were at Spanish Point.
The three White-fronted Geese were still at Ballyallia Lake.

Five Goldeneye were at Bunlicky Lagoon today.
Two Crossbills and two Woodcock were seen at Glenanaar.
A Dipper was in song at Ballyorgan.

First-winter Iceland Gull at Loop Head © John N Murphy (for more photos of white-winged gulls see www.murfswildlife.blogspot.com).

One Little Auk was off the Bridges of Ross (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann).
There were 21 white-winged Gulls in the county today with a breakdown as follows:
Six Iceland Gulls and one second-winter Glaucous Gull were at Ballynacrinan Bay, Moneypoint.
Six Iceland Gulls and one first-winter Glaoucous Gull were at Kilbaha and Ross Bay Loop Head.
Three Iceland Gulls were at Illaunonearaun, south of Kilkee.
One adult Gaucous Gull was at Kilkee.
Two Iceland Gulls and one first-winter Glaucous Gull were at Farrihy Bay between Doonbeg and Kilkee.
Two Snow Buntings were at the White Strand, Doonbeg.
At Loop Head there was one Carrion Crow, two Chough and one Raven.
One Little Egret and one Great Northern Diver were at Kilcredaun Marsh, along with a small flock of 29 Pale-bellied Brent Geese.

The three White-fronted Geese were back at Ballyallia lake today along with one Little Egret and 74 Whooper Swans at the Drumcliff side of the lake.

The Tundra Bean Goose and the three Pink-footed Geese were at Sandfield, Liscannor (Brian Finnegan).
There were 70 Brent Geese at Clahane.

The Tundra Bean Goose and three Pink-footed Geese were at Sandfield, Liscannor (Finbarr MacGabhann & Jeff Copner).
The other Tundra Bean goose was still at Lough Atedaun (Dave McNamara).
There were 90 Common Scoter and six Red-throated Divers at Liscannor.
Two Chough were at Clahane.
One male Blackcap was outside the Riches of Clare Museum in Ennis.

The adult Iceland was on view at Bishop’s Quay.
A female Hen Harrier was seen at Kilmeedy.
73 Whooper Swans and 44 Greylag Geese were at Newtown, Clarina.
A Barn Owl was seen crossing the N21 at Coolanoran, Newcastle West.
