A Chiffchaff was in song at Coonagh and a Blackcap was in song at Ashbrook, Ennis Road Limerick today. These are the first reports of these summer migrants so far this year.
A pair of Buzzards was seen near Limerick City.
A Willow Warbler was at Ballyallia Lake close to the outflow of the Fergus River.
A small flock of 10 Sand Martin were at Dromore Lake. A male and female Blackcap were at Oak Park Ennis.
The drake Ring-necked Duck was still at Roo Lough this afternoon (Gerry Slattery). The first Puffins of the year have returned to the Cliffs of Moher today.

One male Swallow was on a wire at Quay Road, Clarecastle this evening. A male and female Blackcap were at Oak Park Ennis. A Kingfisher was back at Woodquay, Ennis.
