Two Hawfinches were at the Curraghchase (Finbarr MacGabhann).
Single Buzzards were seen today at Castle Oliver, Ballyorgan and at the M20 Ballyclough/Dooradoyle Junction.
There were 23 Whooper Swans were at Herbertstown.

An immature White-tailed Eagle flew high over Clonmoney/Bunratty this morning heading south towards Limerick (John Rattigan). The drake Lesser Scaup and drake greater Scaup were at Lough Gash (John N Murphy). The drake Ring-necked Duck was at Roo Lake (John N Murphy). There were 80 Black-throated Divers (Jeff Copner & John N Murphy), along with one first-winter Glaucous Gull between Black Head and Gleninagh Castle. Between Black Head and Aughinish Island there were 130 Great Northern Divers, 120 Common Scoter, 14 Long-tailed Ducks, 90 Red-breasted Mergansers four Little Egrets and 200 Brent Geese. There were three Yellowhammers at Mullaghmore. Three Little Egrets were at Ballyallia Lake.

Two White-tailed Eagles were at Mount Shannon this afternoon. A Sand Martin was seen earlier today at Rosroe Lake. There were 16 Little Egrets at Ballyallia Lake. The Whooper swan flock at Ballygireen was up to 116 birds.

The first Sand Martin report of the year comes from the Shannon at Plassey where a flock of ten birds was seen in the early afternoon.

The first Wheatear of the year was at Lough Murree on the Flaggy Shore . Nine Great Northern Diver were seen in the Ballyvaughan area at the Branch outing.
A Kingfisher was on the River Fergus at Woodquay car-park Ennis.

The drake Ring-necked Duck and 17 Whooper swans were at Roo Lough on the Clare/Galway border (Dave McNamara). Three first year Glaucous Gulls were at Clahane. There were 50 Gadwall and one Jay at Lough Inchiquin. One Woodcock and one Dipper were at the Glebe, Ennistymon.
