A adult Little Gull(Geoff Hunt) and 63 Arctic Terns were at Coonagh today, both species new to the site.

A second-year Little Gull was at Quilty beach along with two Arctic and six Common Terns. A flock of 100 Barnacle Geese were on Mutton Island while hundreds of Manx Shearwaters flew south west past the island. There were 30 Purple Sandpipers off Seafield Pier with 50 Sandwich Terns feeding on the surrounding sea. One Cuckoo was at Booltiagh.

Four Willow Warblers and a Chiffchaff were in song at Gooig Bog. A Swallow was also seen in the area.
A Willow Warbler, a Chiffchaff and six Swallows were at Castleconnell.
Swallows were also seen at the South Circular Road and the Park Canal in Limerick City.
A Long-eared Owl was found dead near the Croom Bypass.

A Cuckoo was heard calling today near Miltown Malbay. One male Hen Harrier was at Ben Dash.

Two Blackcap and three Chiffchaff were singing in Lees Road Wood Ennis this afternoon. One male Blackcap was singing at Applewood, Ballycar.
