A Barn Owl was seen being mobbed by Crows at Richill, Lisnagry this afternoon.
The first winter Ring-billed Gull and a juvenile (1st winter?) Iceland Gull were at O’Callaghan’s Strand.

The drake Smew was back at Rosroe Lake, Newmarket-on-Fergus (David Lyons). A small flock of 28 Red-throated Divers were off Liscannor. One first-winter Little Gull was at Clahane. One male and one female Hen Harrier were near Doolin.

Two Ring-billed Gulls, an adult and a first winter, were seen at O’Callaghan’s Strand during the branch outing this morning. The first winter Glaucous Gull was also seen at Thomond Weir.

There were 23 Black-throated Divers and five Sandwich Terns along the North Clare Coast. Two Little Egrets were at New Quay.

The four Eider Duck were in the bay at Quilty village once again. One adult and one first-winter Little Gulls were just south of Seafield and Lurga point. Three first-winter Iceland Gulls were at Lahinch.
