A Common Sandpiper was at Lough Gealán in the Burren National Park. Three Blackcap and seven Whitethroat were singing in nearby South Commons and Poundtown. Two Cuckoo were also singing in the area. Great to see that Stonechats have made a good recovery in the Burren after the dreadful winter of 2010/2011.
