Two Jay were at Lees Road Wood. Three Blackcap were singing there also.

A wing tagged Buzzard was seen at Glenanaar. The bird was tagged as a nestling in Co. Cork in 2013.
Several Blackcaps were still in song at Currachase this morning. A Spotted Flycatcher was also seen nearby.

Nine Little Egret were at Knockaunroe Turlough in the Burren. Another Little Egret was at nearby Loch Gealán. Two Blackcap were singing in the same area.

A Barn Owl was seen hunting near Newcastle West in the early hours of the morning.
A Long-eared Owl was hit by a passing truck on the N21 at Coolanoran, Newcastle West.

Two male, one female Yellowhammer and a Little Egret were at Rinroe. Another male and female Yellowhammer were at Cooloorta. A Blackcap was also singing there.
