One first-winter Citrine Wagtail was at Lough Gash, Newmarket-on-Fergus this morning (John N Murphy)(9.30). This is only a second county record and seven other observers saw the bird with the last sighting at 18.30 this evening. There were also three White Wagtails and about 50 Pied Wagtails at Lough Gash. There were also two Green Sandpipers at Lough Gash later in the afternoon.

Juvenile White-winged Black Tern at Coonagh John N Murphy
The juvenile White-winged Black Tern was still at Coonagh this morning flying between the two main ponds (John N Murphy). Also at Coonagh were seven Wigeon, four Little Egrets and a Sedge Warbler.
