Guillemots back nesting at Loop Head John N Murphy

There were four Little Egret, 500 Teal, 150 Wigeon and 28 Pintail at Moyasta. (John N Murphy)
One 3rd-winter male Hen Harrier was near Cross, Loop Head, (John N Murphy)
There were 20 Chough, 16 Rock Doves, 100 Herring Gulls at Gull Island, 80 plus Herring Gulls on the Fodry Road along with two Lesser Black-backed Gulls and 1,000’s of Guillemots and Razorbills on the nest sites at Loop Head. (John N Murphy)
One Peregrine, one Little Egret, 60 Curlew and 20 Brent Geese were at Kilcredaun, (John N Murphy)
There was a flock of 90 Oystercatchers and two Chough on the Bunlickey Clifftop Road at Kilkee. (John N Murphy)
Four Little Egrets were at the eastern end of Poulasherry Bay. (John N Murphy)
One drake Greater Scaup, 70 Tufted Ducks and 30 Gadwall were at Lough Gash. (John N Murphy)

Two Continental Cormorants (sinensis race) were among a flock of 55 Cormorants feeding on the Shannon at Merchant’s Quay, Limerick City, at high tide this morning(Tom Tarpey).

An adult Ring-biled Gull was at Harvey’s Quay.
Elsewhere in Limerick City a flock of 104 Oystercaychers was at the Kings Island, a small flock of Siskins was feeding on the Alders at Westfields and a Blcakcap was seen at Monaleen.

Adult Ring-billed Gull at Clarecastle John N Murphy

One drake SURF SCOTER was off Gleninagh, Black Head this morning along with 25 Black-throated Divers and 14 Common Scoter. (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
Two Spotted Redshank and three adult Mediterranean Gulls were at Corronroo Bay. (Finbarr MacGabhann)
There was a dark-bellied Brent Goose, 60 Pale-bellied Brent Geese, four Little Egrets and 200 Common Gulls in Ballyvaughan Bay. (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
There were three Iceland Gulls at Lahinch. (Jeff Copner)
Seven Long-tailed Ducks were at Kinvarra Point. (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
One Sandwich Tern was at Doorus Pier along with two Black-throated Divers.(John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
There were 160 Brent Geese, 22 Grey Plover and 160 Ringed Plover at Aughinish. (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
One adult Ring-billed Gull was at Clarecastle Quay this evening. (John N Murphy)
Twenty Purple Sandpiper were among a flock of around 400 Dunlin, Sanderling, Turnstone and Ringed Plover at Seafield, Quilty. Three hundred Barnacle Geese were on Mutton Island.(Brian Finnegan, Austin Cooney, Tom Lynch et al at the Clare Branch outing)
