A drake Garganey, 25 Mallard, two Gadwall, a Wigeon, a Teal, five Pochard, eight Great-crested Grebes, a Little Egret and large number of Swifts and Sand Martins were at the Coonagh Nature Reserve today.

A flock of around 200 hirundines, mainly Swallows were feeding on a large hatch of insect at Ballyallia Lake this evening. Fifteen Swift were also in the area.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)

At Loop Head Lighthouse there was one Black Redstart and a Chiffchaff. Also on the Loop Head peninsula there was one second year Glaucous Gull, one Whitethroat, one Wheatear, one Willow Warbler, four Chough and 20 Skylarks. (John N Murphy & Finbarr MacGabhann)
