Wednesday 29th July 2015th

A Barn Owl was found dead on the N20 at Attyflin this morning (Andrew Holmes).

A Buzzard was seen by the M20 at Patrickswell this evening.

Tuesday 28th July 2015

A pair of Buzzards was seen near Ballingarry today (Andrew Holmes).  These birds are in a different location to the pair also seen earlier in the month near Ballingarry.

Three Little Egrets, 45 Redshank and a Greenshank were at Poulaweela Creek.

18 Greenshank and 14 Redshank were at Robertstown.

At the Shannon Airport Lagoon this evening there were; 44 Bar-tailed Godwits, 48 Black-tailed Godwits, one Knot, seven Sanderling, 25 Ringed Plover, 323 Dunlin and one Little Egret. (John N Murphy)

There were five Little Egrets at Corronroo Bay along with 46 Redshank.(John N Murphy)
One Little Egret was at Lough Murree. (John N Murphy)
There were 48 Redshank, one Turnstone and two Little Egrets at Ballyvaughan. (John N Murphy)

Saturday 25th July 2015

There were nine Little Egrets, 178 Curlew, five Whimbrel, 12 Greenshanks and 40 Redshank at Poulnasherry Bay (John N Murphy).
Two Red-throated Divers, 36 Curlew, three Greenshank, two Turnstone and 18 Sandwich Terns were at Doughmore Bay, Doonbeg, (John N Murphy)
Four Tree Sparrows were at Doonbeg. (John N Murphy)
One Little Egret was at Kilcredaun Marsh.(John N Murphy)
Two Jay and two Raven were at Lees Road Wood. Two Blackcap were also singing there.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)

A Buzzard, two Kestrels, a Cuckoo and two Crossbills were seen at Coolfree Mountain (Tony Mee).

A male Hen Harrier was seen at Glenanaar (Tony Mee).
