Two Garganey, 15 Gadwall and 38 Tufted wear at Coonagh (TT).
A large flock of 279 Lesser Black-backed Gulls was roosting at Lough Gur (Tony Mee).

At the Bridges of Ross there were 175 Manx Shearwaters per hour, one Balearic Shearwater, two Storm Petrels, 16 Common Scoter, one Red-throated Diver, one Great Northern Diver, three Bonxies, one Pomarine Skua, 27 Arctic Skuas, four juvenile Black Terns, one Arctic Tern, 61 Sandwich Terns, 13 Whimbrel, one Green Sandpiper, one Merlin, one Minke Whale, 30 Bottle-nosed Dolphins, 20 Common Dolphins and two Ocean Sunfish. At the Bridges of Ross there were 125 Manx Shearwaters per hour, 22 Sooty Shearwaters, five Leach’s Petrels, nine Storm Petrels, two Red-throated Divers, 18 Common Scoter, 15 Bonxies, 28 Arctic Skuas, one Pomarine Skua, seven juvenile Black Terns, 33 Sandwich Terns, 179 Whimbrel, two Bottle-nosed Dolphins, 15 plus Common Dolphins and up to four Ocean Sunfish. A sub-adult Marsh Harrier, two Kestrels, a Sparrowhawk, two eclipse drake Garganey, 15 Gadwall, a Shoveler and a Wigeon, a Greenshank and a Little Egre were seen at Coonagh in the early afternoon (Tom Tarpey). The Marsh Harrier was also seen hunting in the Reserve for 20 mins. in the evening, when a Greenshank and a Little Egret were also present(Maura Turner).

There was one Blue Fulmar, nine Sooty Shearwaters, two Balearic Shearwaters, 400 Manx Shearwaters per hour, nine Storm Petrels, 19 Bonxies, 30 Arctic Skuas, four Pomarine Skuas, two adult Sabine’s Gulls, four juvenile Black Terns, 16 Arctic Terns, 19 Sandwich Terns, two Common Scoter, one Red-throated Diver, 58 Whimbrel, eight Bottle-nosed Dophins, 10 plus Common Dolphins and one Ocean Sunfish. A juvenile Osprey was seen flying southwards over Sugar Hill today (Brian Porter). This is the third record for the County, the previous ones being on 17/9/2011 at Trabert Bay and in 1864 at Castleconnell.
