Two Whooper Swans were on the callows east of Athlacca. Whooper Swan numbers appear to be very low in Limerick this winter. No significant flocks have been reported yet from the traditional wintering areas.

The Cattle Egret was still present at the Groody Valley accompanied by four Little Egrets. Seven Snipe and a Lapwing were also seen.
