An adult Yellow-legged Gull, 34 Redshank, five Greenshank and a Kingfisher were at Loghill (TT).
A Spotted Redshank, 81 Redshank, 13 Greenshank, 15 Curlew, a Dunlin, 346 Lesser Black-backed Gulls and a Little Egret were at Robertstown (TT).
300 Redshank, ten Dunlin and five Little Egrets were at Askeaton (TT).

At the Bridges of Ross today there were four Great Shearwaters, 75 Sooty Shearwaters, two Balearic Shearwaters, 5,300 Manxies, seven Storm Petrels, nine Bonxies, two Pomarine Skuas, 11 Arctic Skuas, ten Sandwich Terns, 13 Arctic Terns, 27 Whimbrel, four Common Scoter, one Red-throated Diver, one Black-tailed Godwit, two Chough, one Peregrine and a Sunfish (Niall T Keogh, Neal Warnock et al).
The Buzzard was still at Exit 13 on the M18 this afternoon (Finbarr MacGabhann).

There was one Fea’s Petrel at the Bridges of Ross late this afternoon (Mick Fiszer, Simon Dennis, Steve Hack, Mick Stuart, Neal Warnock, Victor Cashera & Geoff Pearson).
Also at the Bridges were 28 Cory’s Shearwaters, two Great Shearwaters, six Balearic Shearwaters, 173 Sooty Shearwaters, 9,000 Manx Shearwaters, nine Storm Petrels, 17 Bonxies, 15 Arctic Skuas, four Sabines Gulls, 43 Arctic Terns, 21 Sandwich Terns, two Puffins, 15 Common Scoter and 65 Whimbrel. Adult Rose-coloured Starling at Kilkee Eanna O’Flynn
One adult Rose-coloured Starling is on the grounds of the Kilkee Bay Hotel this evening.(Eanna O’Flynn)
So far there have been nine records for the county. The first record for Clare was of an adult bird shot at Roxton, Corofin in 1808. The next was another bird shot in the county during the summer of 1830.
In the 1900’s there were two records. One adult male was shot at Sixmilebridge in the first week of July 1937. The next bird also an adult was in a private garden at Tradaree Court, Shannon Town on 29th July 1989.
The majority of records came in during 2000’s. One adult was at Spanish Point from the 2nd to 19th of July 2000. One adult was at Marrion Avenue, Ennis from the 1st to 12th July 2001. One adult was seen on rooftops near the Half Way House Pub, Ennis from the 19th to 25th August 2007. One adult was at Spanish Point on 13th June 2012.

Juvenile Buzzard outside Ennis near Exit 13 John N Murphy
There were two Arctic Skuas, 28 Whimbrel, 20 Curlew and 15 Turnstone at the Bridges of Ross with one Willow Warbler in Kilbaha (John N Murphy, Neal Warnock et al).
One Buzzard was near Exit 13 on the M18 outside Ennis (Seamus Hassett)
A Ruff, two Med Gull, 25 Black-tailed Godwit, 12 Lapwing and 30 Curlew were at a flooded field near the Pitch and Putt course on the Lahinch to Liscannor Road.(Jeff Copner)
