Six Iceland Gulls (five 1st winters, inc. one showing characteristics of Kumlien’s Gull and an adult) were on the Shannon between Harvey’s Quay and Arthur’s Quay (TT).
Three Buzzards were at Ballyorgan (Tony Mee).
Four Hawfinches were at Curraghchase (per Irishbirding)

One 2CY Mediterranean Gull was at Corronroo Bay. (Paul Troake)
There was one Rock Pipit showing Scandinavian littoralis type features at the Rine, Ballyvaughan along with 17 Black-throated Divers and a further 35 Black-throated Divers off Coolsiva Pier. (PT)

Adult Forster’s Tern with Sandwich Terns off the North Clare coast (Phone scoped) John N Murphy

The adult Forster’s Tern was at Traught Beach this afternoon in Galway where it flew from the seashore towards Newtownlynch Pier. At the pier it landed on rocks for 20 minutes before flying off west out along the causeway at Aughinish Island past the Martelloe Tower and out to sea. (John N Murphy)

Three Yellow-legged Gulls, two 2nd winters and 1st winter, and an adult Iceland Gull were at O’Callaghan’s Strand (Jeff Copner).
A male Brambling was at Curraghchase (JC).

The American Herring Gull was still at Kilkee today (Ciaran Cronin), along with one 2CY Iceland Gull
Between the Flaggy Shore and Aughinish Island this afternoon there were two Arctic Terns, six Sandwich Terns, eight Long-tailed Duck, three Manx Shearwaters, 80 Red-breasted Mergansers and 70 Great Northern Divers. (John N Murphy)

Immature male Long-tailed Duck at Kilkee John N Murphy

The immature American Herring Gull was at Kilkee early this morning (John N Murphy), along with two Iceland Gulls, one Herring Gull with yellow legs, one immature male Long-tailed Duck and a Red-throated Diver. (JNM & Tom Tarpey)
Twenty Great Northern Diver were seen during the Branch outing between Ballyvaughan Pier and the Rine. Six Coommon Scoter were at the Rine.(Austin Cooney, Nuala and Tom Lynch et al)
A Red-throated Diver was at Bishops Quarter.( NL & TL et al)
A Sandwich Tern was at Bishop’s Quarter.(Geoff Pearson)
Twenty Common Scoter, 125 Great Northern Diver, one 2CY Iceland Gull and a Whimbrel were at the Flaggy Shore.(Paul Troake)
