One and possibly two Reed Warblers were singing at Coonagh. A Cuckoo, a drake Pochard, four Great Crested Grebes and a Little Egret were also seen (TT).

A Reed Warbler was in song at Coonagh today (Tom Tarpey). This is the first possible breeding record in Limerick. A Merlin, a drake Gadwall, a pair of Tufted Ducks and three Great Crested Grebes were also present.
A Buzzard was at Curraghchase (Maura Turner).
A Long-eared Owl passed over the M7 at Rosbrien (TT).

Sixty two Collared Dove were at a farm beside Ballyallia Lake.(Paidi Cullinan)
A male Yellowhammer was at Meggagh East near Carron and a female was at Eagle’s Rock.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)

Four male Yellowhammer were singing in the Saint Fachtnan’s Holy Well area in Carron.(Nuala and Tom Lynch)
Twenty Great Northern Diver were at Gleninagh and also two Crossbill.(Finbar MacGabhann and Paidi Cullinan)
