One Leach’s Petrel was off Castle Point, Kilkee. (John N Murphy)
Seven Brent Geese and two Sandwich Terns were at Doonbeg Bay earlier this morning. (JNM)

Monday 27th September 2021

A Flock of 29 Pink-footed Geese were in Kilbaha this morning.(Howard Williams)
Two Slavonian Grebes flew west past Quilty this evening. (John N Murphy)
At the Bridges of Ross today there were four Leach’s Petrels, two Pomarine Skuas. (Geoff Pearson & Jeff Copner)
Ninety two Golden Plover and a Buzzard were at the Fodry.(JC)
There were ten Mediterranean Gulls at Killimer this morning.(JNM)
Three Buzzards were at Barefield. (Iomhar Daly)
The White Curlew was still at Bishop’s Quarter. (Myla Van Engelen)
There were two colour ringed Oystercatchers on Quilty Beach, both had white rings on their right legs (1.PY, 2.JE) & Navy over Red on left leg. Probably Icelandic birds. (JNM)


Sunday 26th September 2021

At the Bridges of Ross today from 14.00 to 17.00 there was one Sooty Shearwater, 50 Manx Shearwaters, four Arctic Skuas, two Bonxies, one Storm Petrels, two Arctic Terns, two Common Scoter and one adult Mediterranean Gull.(John N Murphy & Geoff Pearson)
In the gardens at Kilbaha there were two Chiffchaffs, one Goldcrest, one Buzzard, eight Redpoll, one Collared Dove and 60 Rock Doves. (JNM)

A Great White Egret and an Egyptian Goose flew north-west over Doonbeg Bay at 8a.m.(Paul Connaughton)
A Semipalmated Sandpiper was with three Dunlin on the rocky beach at Moneypoint at 3p.m. .(PC)
A Great White Egret was at Lake inchiquin where the River Fergus enters the lake.(Jeff Copner)

One juvenile Little Stint was at Aughinish with two White Wagtails and five Mediterranean Gulls were off the causeway.(Paul Troake)
