At the Bridges of Ross today 6.30-19.00 there were two Wilson’s Petrel, 80+ Cory’s Shearwaters 30+, Great Shearwater, two Balearic Shearwaters, two Long-tail Skuas, one Bonxie, three Pomarine Skuas, 12 Arctic Skuas, two Leach’s petrel, ten Storm Petrels, 30 Sabine’s Gulls and three Grey Phalaropes. At the Bridges of Ross this morning (6.10-14.30) there were two Wilson’s Petrels, two Long-tailed Skuas, 12 Cory’s Shearwaters, 46 Great Shearwaters, three Balearic Shearwaters, 100 Sooty Shearwaters, two Sabines Gulls, four Pomarine Skuas and 27 Storm Petrels. (per Irishbirding.com)
Off the Bridges of Ross this afternoon (14.50-19.30), there was one Wilson’s Petrel, two Great Shearwaters, 60 plus Sooty Shearwaters, 25 Storm Petrels, 19 Sabine’s Gulls, three Arctic Skuas, two Pomarine Skuas, three Bonxies, and 300 Arctic Terns. (Simon Mitchell)
