At a seawatch at the Bridges of Ross between 10.00-14.00 there was a steady passage of Manx Shearwater peaking at 150 in five minutes. Two Storm Petrel were observed among them. (Geoff Pearson)

A Buzzard was at Cappanapeasta north of Crusheen.(Tom Tarpey)
Four Swift were at St. Flannan’s College(Chris Cullen) and four more were at Leamanagh Castle.(Fergus Flood)


Sunday 19th May 2024

A drake Garganey, seven Pochard and three Gadwall were at Coonagh. At least five Reed Warblers were also in song at the site(TT).
